A near head-on  collision claims the life of a Myerstown, Lebanon County man.  It happened at about 9:49 this morning on Route 422 at Ramona Road in Jackson Township.  Pennsylvania State Police say a 2008 Toyota Prius, driven by 83 year old Clifton Minard, was east bound on Route 422 approaching the Ramona Road intersection.  Mr. Minard attempted to turn left to head north on Ramona Road. The turn put his car vehicle directly into the path of a west bound 2008 Ford F-250 towing a 12 foot enclosed 2011 Carry On Trailer driven by 61 year old Kenneth Reist, of Lebanon.

Both drivers were taken to Lebanon’s Good Samaritan Hospital by ambulance. Mr. Minard was pronounced dead at the hospital. Mr. Reist suffered only minor injuries.
