Lebanon City Police nab a bike riding suspect response to a burglar alarm last Friday night. The incident happened at about 10:33 pm last Friday  at Puffs Super Value Tobacco Shop in the 1000 block of Quentin Road. Officers discovered that someone had broke a window to get inside the business.

One of the officers noticed a man on a bicycle carrying a backpack riding away and who refused to stop.  The man rode through the yards of homes along the 800 block of South 12th Street. Police established a perimeter and with the help of K-9 searched for the suspect.  The K-9 located the bicycle, backpack and then the suspect, who was hiding in a line of shrubbery.

The suspect, identified as Justin Oliver, 21, of Lebanon, had items allegedly taken in the burglary including a lock-box containing cash. Charges against Oliver include Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Possessing Instruments of Crime. After arraignment, Oliver was sent to Lebanon County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
