Umbilical cord cells have been used for years to treat different diseases, but most cells are thrown out because parents don’t know their options when it comes to saving their newborn baby’s umbilical cord blood.

FOX43 talks to Dr. Rallie McAllister, who’s raising awareness about cord blood banking, and Shelly Connelly, whose daughter benefited from cord blood, about the benefits of saving these cells.
