Kwanzaa Fest and more weekend events in Central Pennsylvania

Patriot News entertainment reporter Julia Hatmaker previews some of the events taking place throughout Central PA this weekend.

  • Kwanzaa Fest 2013: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 7 at HACC’s Cooper Student Center, 1 HACC Drive, Harrisburg. Cost: Free with canned good or non-perishable food item donation.
  • Zcountry 106.7 Toy Drive Concert: 3-7 p.m. Dec. 6 at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, 6295 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg. Cost: Free, donations of toys accepted.
  • Rochelle Rochelle Video Release Show: 6 p.m. Dec. 7 at The Champ, 52 Rear Market St., Lemoyne. Cost: $10 advance, $12 day of.
  • Aortic Valve at HMAC: Dec. 6 at Stage on Herr at Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center, 268 Herr St., Harrisburg. Cost: $5.
  • State Capella of Russia concert: 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at First United Methodist Church, 135 W. Simpson St., Mechanicsburg. Advance tickets: $15 adults; $5 students ages 10 through college. Adults pay $5 more at the door.
