The Amber Child Abduction Alert for 4-year old Kyleigh Simcsuk has been cancelled. Emergency dispatchers in Palmerton, PA tell FOX43 the little girl has been found and she is safe. No further details are being released at this time.

The Pennsylvania State Police has issued an Amber Child Abduction Alert for the Palmerton Borough Police department in Carbon County.

Police say that on Saturday  around 6:30p.m.  a 4-year-old girl, Kyleigh Simcsuk, was abducted from Delaware Avenue in Palmerton.

Police say she was taken by Timothy Simcsuk, 25, after he assaulted the girl’s care giver. He then fled the scene with the child in a dark green mini van with Pennsylvania or California registration.

Police do not know what direction he was heading at this time.

Timothy Simcsuk is described as a white male, 5 ft. 8 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The effected counties of the alert are Carbon, Monroe, Northampton, Lehigh, Schuylkill, and Luzerne.
