A York County judge hands the death penalty to convicted child killer, Aric Woodward. A jury convicted Woodward, 43, last October of first degree murder in the beating death of 2 year old Jaques Twinn in November 2011. The same jury recommended the death penalty.
Court of Common Pleas Judge Michael Bortner formally sentenced Woodard to death yesterday. All death sentences are automatically reviewed by a higher court.
