Police search for man involved in burglary /assault

Carlisle police are looking for a man who was involved in a home burglary and threatening a woman at knife point.

Police say 35-year-old Kevin Samuels, unknown address, climbed through an upstairs window of a home located at 515 N. Pitt Street just after 8p.m. last night.

The window belong to an infants bedroom.

Samuels then pulled a knife out and threatened a 21-year-old woman before fleeing the home through the front door, breaking the door frame and glass on the door, police said.

No one was injured.

A warrant has been issued for Samuel’s on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault and criminal mischief.

His whereabouts are unknown.
