According to a report from NFL.com, Penn State Head Coach Bill O’Brien has agreed to interview for the Houston Texans head coaching position.   This is a development that makes Nittany Lions fans nervous but should not surprise anyone.  It’s no secret O’Brien has aspirations to return to the NFL.  The question is whether or not he wants to make the jump so soon.   An interview is a necessary step in the flirtation process.   He has restructured his contract to make his buyout clause more appealing to potential NFL teams.   It would cost an owner $6.5 million dollars to uproot O’Brien from State College.   He has guided the Lions program through tumultuous waters, leading Penn State to 15 wins in his two seasons.
