North Carolina boy asked to remove Intercourse Fire Co. shirt

Topic of the Day, 12/26/13 – Intercourse, Lancaster county the tiny crossroads village has endured decades of teases and mockery.  And now the town’s in the spotlight from an incident in North Carolina.  An Elementary school student was forced to remove an incident in North Carolina.  An elementary school student was forced to remove his Intercourse Fire Company T-Shirt.  Apparently, the 11-year-old child comes from a family of firefighters and he received the shirt from an uncle who’s a firefighter in New Jersey.  When the boy wore the shirt to school, he was asked to change.

    Seriously, It's the name of a fire company. It should not have even been an issue. There is nothing even remotely wrong with the shirt.

    I lived in NC for 6 1/2 years….yeah, they’re that stupid. I grew up in York County. This is ridiculous!!! Name of school PLEASE!! They’ll be hearing from me!!
