A man wanted on a criminal homicide warrant issued in New York, is arrested by U.S. Marshals in York City. Johnny Garriga, 23, is accused in a fatal shooting that occurred just four days ago on December 26 in Brooklyn, New York. New York City Police asked the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force for assistance in locating Garriga.
The pursuit led to York. Garriga was taken into custody this morning without incident by U.S. Marshals in the 200 block of South Queen Street. U.S. Marshals were assisted by York City Police, York County Sheriff’s, State Police and New York City Police.
