Lower Paxton Township Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred last night at the Sun Up, 4617 Locust Lane. It happened around 7pm. A clerk told police two robbers entered the store. One suspect was armed with a black and silver revolver, and threatened the clerk. The suspects took cash and Newport cigarettes before fleeing out the front door toward Dartmouth Street. Both suspects are described as black males who were wearing ski masks and gloves.

Police say this crime may be related to a similar one Dec. 29th in Swatara Township.

In that robbery, at the Turkey Hill at 12 South Harrisburg Street in Oberlin Sunday night, clerks at the store also told police that two black males wearing hoodies, masks and gloves entered the store and demanded money. One of the males allegedly displayed a handgun.

The robbers received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store towards Highland Street, behind the store. One male is described as 6’ tall, of an average build, wearing a black hoodie with a maroon jacket with yellow stripes around the sleeves and across the back. The second male is described as 6’3” tall, light skinned, wearing a dark hoodie with a tan vest.
