State Police have confirmed that a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 has resulted in two deaths. Five other people were injured.
According to State Police, Troopers from the Chambersburg, Franklin County barracks are currently on the scene of a 3-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 at mile marker 21 southbound in Greene Township.

Both southbound lanes are closed and could remain shut down for several hours.
Four other crashes in the freezing rain closed I-81 South and Northbound earlier in the afternoon, in Middlesex Twp, Cumberland County. Police assisted a driver who lost control going southbound and veered off the road.
