SLOWLY THAWING

Gradual warming continues

Clouds are spread across the region this morning, with a few flurries around.  Otherwise, it’s a calm start to the morning.  Temperatures aren’t nearly as cold as the past several nights, beginning in the upper teens to lower 20s.  Through the rest of the afternoon, expect a mixture of clouds and sunshine with highs approaching 30 degrees.  The clouds thicken up again tonight, and flurries are possible again late.  As we transition into Friday, some light snow showers are possible, becoming rain showers by afternoon.  Little to no accumulation is expected.  Highs reach the middle to upper 30s.

WET ‘N MILD

Our best chance for a soaking rain comes along as a cold front that pushes through Saturday afternoon through the overnight.  Highs are quite mild, near 50 degrees!  Sunday brings partly cloudy skies, with afternoon highs peaking in the middle 40s.

FAIRLY QUIET

Monday and Tuesday look rather uneventful right now, but they’ll be a bit on the milder side.  Partly cloudy skies are expected Monday, with highs in the lower to middle 40s.  Tuesday there is a chance for a few rain showers as our next system approaches.  Highs drop a little, hanging around the 40 degree mark.  Temperatures fall into the 30s Wednesday.

Have a great Thursday!
