Fire damages Lancaster County home

A home in southern Lancaster County is heavily damaged by fire.  The fire broke out shortly after 2 o’clock Friday afternoon at the home along the 1900 block of Lancaster Pike in Fulton Township.  The first crews on the scene encountered smoke and flames mostly from the rear of the home.

The fire is believed to have started near a wood stove. They were no reported injuries. The exact cause of the fire is under investigation.
