Woman, 66, injured during attempted robbery in Harrisburg

A  woman is recovering after being injured during an attempted robbery in Harrisburg on Monday afternoon.

The woman, who is in her mid-60’s, was walking along the 1600 block of North 3rd Street when she was knocked over, police said. While she was still on the ground, the suspect attempted to take her belongings.

The woman was treated at a local hospital for her injuries.

The suspect is described as a white “older” man with a gray beard and was wearing a yellow sweatshirt, police said.
