Newville Couple in custody for burglary and theft

A Newville couple who were wanted on criminal charges out of Cumberland County are now in police custody.

North Middleton Township police arrested 24-year-old Elizabeth Treaster and her 29-year-old husband Dustin Treaster on Friday for two different crimes.

Police say, Dustin Treaster is facing charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and tampering with evidence in connection with a September 2 burglary along the 1st block of Channel Drive.

Elizabeth Treaster faces charges of bad checks and theft by deception in connection with an incident that occurred August 20 at members 1st Federal Credit Union, police said.
