Restaurant in Chambersburg robbed at gunpoint

State police in Franklin county are looking for a man who stuck up Diffy’s Family Restaurant Saturday evening.

According to police the robbery happened around 9 p.m. in the  7900 block of Molly Pitcher Highway.

Police say the robber entered the restaurant armed with a black handgun and demanded money from the cash register before fleeing the scene, running north.

The suspect  is being described as a male approximately 6′ and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, ski goggles, blue jeans and black gloves.

State police are not releasing the amount of money that was taken.
