Police identified the man killed after being stuck by a pickup truck in Franklin County Saturday night as 47-year-old George F. Decker Jr., of Waynesboro. The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. along the first block of South Potamac Street in Waynesboro.
According to police reports, Decker was struck as he ran from the sidewalk into the southbound lanes.
Decker was flown to York Hospital where he later died.
