A Dauphin County man faces multiple charges stemming from an alleged domestic violence incident at his home in Middletown.  Police resp0nded to a call at about 4:30 Wednesday afternoon at the home of Marcus D. Pope, 32, in the 200 block of Nissley Street.

Investigators say Pope allegedly assaulted a woman, held a knife to her throat, threatened her and damaged property at the home. He fled the home before police arrived on the scene. His victim’s injuries did not require her to be hospitalized.

Pope eluded a widespread search by Borough Police, assisted Lower Swatara Police and Penn State-Harrisburg Police.  He was eventually located today in Middletown and taken into custody.

Charges against Pope include Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threats, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Criminal Mischief.
