Fairview township police have filed charges against the mother who is being accused of cutting her sons neck.
Police are charging Candis Bradshaw, 36, of Fairview township, with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Bradshaw was arrested this morning at Philhaven mental health facility in Lebanon County. She is scheduled for arraignment this afternoon.
Last Friday January 17th, police were called to a home on Firefox Lane for a report of a self inflicting stabbing. When police arrived, they found Bradshaw with a stab wound to her chest. The officers then found Bradshaw’s 2-year-old son with several cuts to his neck.
They both were flown to Hershey Medical Center for treatment. The boy was released over the weekend.
