Shaquille Burnette

Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a home invasion robbery in the Geneva Greens apartment complex in Upper Allen Township.

Shaquille Burnette, 20, of Harrisburg, was arrested on Thursday and charged with robbery, criminal conspiracy, terroristic threats, simple assault and theft by unlawful taking.

The charges stem from a Nov. 5 incident in which residents of the apartment returned home to find two gunmen inside. According to police reports, the gunmen forced the residents to call other family members home while the robbers stole items including jewelry, cash and a laptop.

A preliminary hearing for Burnette is scheduled for Jan. 29.

He remains in Cumberland County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Police arrested Justin Matthews, 31, of Philadelphia, in December in connection with the crime.

Upper Allen Police are still investigating the case and anyone with information is asked to contact them at 717-238-9676. An anonymous tip line is also available by calling or texting 717-850-UAPD (8273).
