Lancaster police seek teen in shots fired incident

UPDATE: Lancaster City say Daequan Wilcox has been located. He returned home at about 9 o’clock this evening and is with his family.

Lancaster City Police continuing their investigation into a shots fire incident in the 100 block of  East Ross street last Monday night and last night’s shooting of a 14 yer old girl in the 400 block of High street, want to talk to a missing 16 year old.  Daequan Wilcox was reported missing by his parents immediately after the Ross street incident.  Investigators are looking into the possibility that both shooting incidents may be related.

Police say Wilcox has phoned family members and met some family members briefly today. But his whereabouts are currently unknown. Wilcox is listed as a missing juvenile in the National Crime Information Center.
