State Police in Lebanon are investigating high school students throughout the county for their involvement in the transmission of sexually explicit ‘selfies’ of juvenile females. The pictures of the girls, in various stages of undress, were taken on camera phones and then distributed through various electronic mediums.

In a release issued this afternoon, State Police say parents and students need to be reminded of the inherent dangers in transmitting these types of images. They say it is difficult, if not impossible to control the distribution of these images. It is also illegal to possess and distribute sexually explicit images of juveniles.
