The show “So You Think You Can Dance!” is in its eleventh season but it is the first time the show has searched for talent in the Keystone State.

There were thousands of dancers who lined up outside of the Merriam Theatre in Philadelphia to audition for the hit show. Each dancer was hoping to land a spot on show to highlight their dancing skills in front of a national audience.
Executive Producer Jeff Thacker says they have made stops all over the country and each city brings its own unique quality.
“We are looking for people who stand out, ” says executive producer Jeff Thacker, “who are memorable, we look for America’s favorite dancer.”
Cat Deely has hosted the show for the last ten seasons, she says she was impressed with the talent she saw in Philadelphia.
“I really like dancers, they are really good people,” says host Cat Deeley, “normally they are the back up guys, they are very rarely just the stars and they tend to have great personalities and they really hard work. ”
Judges have seen more than fifty-three thousand dancers over the years and to find out who makes the cut for this season, you will have to wait till May. You can catch the show on FOX43.
