Teen arrested in shooting of 14 year old girl

Lancaster City Police make an arrest in the Tuesday night shooting of a 14 year old girl.  Curtis Anderson, 17, was taken into custody at about 11:30 this morning in the city.   Police spokesman, Lt. Todd Umstead says Anderson is being arraigned and will be charged as an adult in the case.

The 14 year old girl appears to have been a bystander when shots rang out about 6:30 pm Tuesday evening in the 400 block of High Street. She underway emergency surgery and remains in critical but stable condition at a local hospital.

Umstead also said a second person with Anderson this morning was also arrested. He did say what charges are pending against the second individual.

    Very glad they caught him! But VERY poorly written article- "…underway emergency surgery…" and "…did say what charges…"?
