Sunday marked the second day of The Great American Outdoor Show at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg.  This is the first year for the show hosted by the National Rifle Association.  The NRA took over the show after organizers of the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show cancelled last year’s event when the promoter decided to ban the sale of certain guns.  The show showcases more than 1,000 vendors in fishing, hunting, trapping, and outdoor sports.  Not to mention a jam packed schedule including concerts, archery competitions, celebrity appearances seminars, demonstrations, and much more.

Mike Bollinger of Big Sky Outfitters in Montana says, “Quite full of people, we’ve had a lot of people coming by.  We are glad to have the show back in the Harrisburg, its the best show they could have done in the United States.”

Bob Dunn of Dunn’s Sport Hunting, “Anything you ever want to do sporting wise is right here at this show.  There is probably about 15 hundred to three thousand vendors offering (pause) everything under the sun.”

The nine day event runs through Sunday, February 9th.
