Police in York County search for two suspects in a daring daylight home burglary last week in Jackson Township. It happened at about 12:53 pm last Thursday, January 30, at a home in the 800 block of Lefever Road

The homeowner told police that he was in the basement when he heard people walking around on the first floor. Checking out the sounds, the homeowner discovered a male, believed to be in his early to mid 20’s, rummaging through a dresser drawer in the bedroom. The homeowner yelled at the man, who then called out to a second suspect.

Both suspects ran out of the house and into a blue Cadillac parked in the driveway. The suspects were last seen headed westbound on East Berlin Road. The homeowner reported some jewelry was taken during the burglary.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Northern York County Regional Police at (717) 292-3647.
