Winter storm results in downed trees in the wires and along the tracks
As a result of the latest winter storm to hit the Northeast region, Amtrak has suspended service between Philadelphia and Harrisburg, Pa., due to weather-related issues including downed trees in the wires and on the tracks in multiple locations.
Amtrak crews are working to clear the debris and make any needed repairs. At this time there is no estimate for when the tracks will re-open.
