Three people have been charged for a robbery police say they set up to get even on a heroin debt. It happened in West Manheim Township, York County, on January 23rd. Aaron Jackson and his girlfriend, Shannon Storm were shopping at the north Hanover Walmart and they called a friend asking for a ride to Jackson’s home in Taneytown, Maryland. That friend, Allison Pattison, agreed and arranged to pick up Jackson and Storm at 9pm. Pattison arrived with two people the couple did not know, Cory Clark and Casey Malinowski.

While driving in the area of Black Rock Road and Frogtown Road, Clark punched Jackson in the head, pulled out a knife and demanded money.  A struggle over the knife ensued inside the vehicle and Jackson’s hand was severely lacerated causing nerve damage and requiring stitches. As Pattison briefly stopped the vehicle on Frogtown Road, Storm was able to get out of the vehicle and flee on foot while Jackson continued to struggle with Clark inside the car over the knife.  Pattison then continued to drive onto Fuhrman Mill Road and back onto Frogtown Road where Clark told Pattison to stop so he could “search” Jackson.

Jackson ran from the vehicle but fell on the icy road.  Clark caught up to him and again threatened him with the knife and demanded money. Jackson handed over $100.00 and Clark got back into the vehicle and left.  Jackson walked about a half mile to a house and called 911. Storm used her cell phone to call for a ride.  Investigators located blood and signs of a struggle in the snow along Frogtown Road in the area described by Jackson.  The vehicle used in the robbery, owned by Clark’s mother, was searched and blood was recovered from the rear seat area.

Investigators learned the robbery was set up by Pattison, Clark and Malinowski because Pattison was shorted by Storm and Jackson in prior heroin deals.

West Manheim Township Police filed charges of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, theft and receiving stolen property against:
