Two men charged in drug related death

Police are charging two men with third degree homicide for supplying heroin to a 21-year-old man who died after overdosing on the drug.

Silver Spring Township police say 23-year-old Alec LeassigĀ  and David Koker, 20, both from Mechanicsburg, delivered heroin to the unidentified man which resulted in his death Monday morning.

The victim was found dead by family members at his parents’ house on the 1100 block of West Trindle Road. Police say the victim lived at that address. While investigating, police found heroin and drug paraphernalia at the scene.

Police are also charging Leassig and Koker with a variety of other drug related charges.

Both suspects are currently in Cumberland County Prison on a 500,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 26.
