Woman charged with identity theft in Cumberland County

An Enola woman is charged with using another person’s identity to open a cell phone account. Upper Allen Township Police say the victim, an Upper Allen Township resident, filed a complaint last August. The investigation led to Linda Reid, 56, who used to live in Upper Allen Township. She was arrested at her home in Enola with the help of East Pennsboro Police.

Reid is charged with Identity Theft and Theft by Deception and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 7, 2014.
