Astronomers discover new information about exploding stars

NASA’s NuSTAR is an X-ray telescope and it is the first to map radioactive material in a supernova, which is highlighted by a blue color.

Astronomers found that an unstable, radioactive, isotope develops in the heart of the exploding star and its energy blows off the star’s outer layers.
