Police have arrested a Lancaster man for shooting another man in an attempted robbery that happened on February 9.
Carlos Celin Colon, 21, was charged on Wednesday with robbery, aggravated assault, firearms offenses, and criminal conspiracy to commit robbery, police said.
Police say Colon, shot an unidentified 20-year-old man on the 200 block of E. Clay Street in Lancaster City. The victim suffered a single gunshot wound to the lower extremities and was treated at a local hospital for his injuries.
Police believe Colon and at least one other person specifically targeted the victim to rob him.
Colon was placed in Lancaster County Prison on $75,000 bail and a detainer for a parole violation.
Police are continuing to investigate and are attempting to identify the other suspects involved in the incident.
