A man armed with a handgun robbed the Converse Outlet Store in Tanger Outlets Sunday evening. Police say the suspect was in the store as two female employees were preparing to close for the day. The suspect, described as a heavyset black male, 50-55 years of age, about 6’1, 260 pounds, with unshaven black and grey facial hair, wearing a navy beanie and black puffy coat, pulled a gun and demanded money.
He then left with an undetermined amount of cash. Neither employee was injured.
