A total of 10 people are displaced by fire this afternoon from their Lebanon City apartment building. The fire broke out just before 3:30 at the two unit apartment building along the 1000 block of Lehman Street. A stiff breeze fanning the flames quickly elevated the fire to alarms.

Fire Commissioner Duane Trautman says the fire began the ceiling of the second floor apartment. The wind caused the fire to spread deeply into the building. It about an hour to bring the fire under control. There were no reported injuries.

Commission Trautman said damage to the building ranges between $70,000 and $75,000. An investigation into the exact cause of the fire resumes tomorrow.
