3 arrested in Lancaster City prostitution sting

Three men were arrested Thursday during an undercover prostitution sting in Lancaster City, police said. The operation was prompted by reports of prostitution occurring in plain view of the public.

During the sting– undercover female officers posed as prostitutes. According to police reports, each of the men approached the undercover officers and offered money in exchange for sex acts.

Arrested were James Franklin Sellard Jr., 49, of Lancaster; Luis Guillermo Fonseca, 46, of Havertown; and Rodney Eric Ware, 47, of Lancaster. All three were charged with criminal solicitation prostitution.

The men were processed at the police station  and released.

Police will continue to conduct details targeting prostitution over the next few months.
