Police have identified the woman who was found dead early Saturday morning in Riverfront Park.
Irene MacDonald, 26, was found deceased in a parking lot in the 600 block of North Front Street. Officers were called to the area around 5 a.m. for original reports of an unconscious person. Detectives have learned that MacDonald was at an unknown bar in downtown Harrisburg and left her purse at the bar.
The Dauphin County Coroner is working to determine the cause of death and manner of her death. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
