A Harrisburg man picking up a child from school is charged Driving while Under the Influence. The incident happened on January 24 when Stephen Hill, 54, stopped to pick up a child at Tri-Community Elementary School. A Swatara Township Police officer noticed the smell of an alcoholic beverage on Hill’s breath.
The officer followed Hill and stopped him before he could drive off of the school property. After a brief investigation, Hill was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. He refused a test of his blood to determine alcohol content and was subsequently charged with DUI and Driving Under Suspension.
