UPDATE: shooting investigation in Manheim Township

Police have released a warrant for a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning along the 1000 block of Grofftown Road, Manheim Township.

Police are charging  Joshua Gene Rojas, 29, address unknown with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and criminal conspiracy.

When officers arrived on scene around 7:20 a.m. and  found a 27-year-old male victim bleeding from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was immediately taken to Lancaster General Hospital where he was treated for his non-life threatening wound.

Rojas whereabouts are currently unknown but police believe he is driving a dark grey 2006 Toyota Scion with a PA registration JHR9074.

Police ask anyone with any information on the incident or the location of the vehicle or Rojas to contact Manheim Township Police at 717-569-6401 ext. 0.
