Fire damages home in Windsor Twp.

(WINDSOR TWP., York County)–A home on Knob Creek Lane in Windsor Township was damaged by fire Sunday morning.  Firefighters were called  around 9:07 a.m. for a report of a fire along the 200 block of Knob Creek Lane.

Upon their arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke and fire coming from the attached two-car garage.

There was extensive damage to the house, and it has been deemed uninhabitable, fire officials said.

No one was inside when the blaze started.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and damage estimates are  still being assessed.
