2 people are hurt after a shooting in a residential neighborhood in South Lebanon Township on Monday morning. Shots were fired around 10AM in the 700 block of Fox Ridge Lane. The Lebanon County District Attorney, David Arnold, said “when police arrived they confronted three individuals who were fleeing out of that apartment. They chased those three individuals.”

One of the cops that chased down the suspects was South Lebanon Township Police Chief Michael Lesher. “The female operator parked on her own, parked in an alley and took off on foot” said Lesher. That’s when she was caught along with another suspect. A third suspect is still on the loose. Cops are asking people to report anything they see that’s suspicious by calling 911.

Neighbors described the scene were the shooting took place as a quiet neighborhood. One neighbor, Gladys Chapin, said “we just kept watching and then I saw two bodies come out.” The two bodies that Chapin saw were the victims, both of which were flown by helicopter to Hershey Medical Center in serious condition.

Chapin said nothing like this has ever happened in her neighborhood and it’s making her think twice about how safe her family is. “My granddaughter loves to play down there in the parking lot on her bicycle and now I can’t let her go down there anymore because it’s too dangerous” said Chapin.
