West York Police investigate shooting

West York Police say they’ve found evidence of a shooting incident in the Borough. It happened last night around 10:30pm. Reports came in on the 1000- 1100 block of West Princess Street that several gunshots were fired from one car at another car.

Witnesses told police they heard 3 to 4 gun shots and saw two cars, one white sedan and one black sedan. People were firing handguns from these vehicles somewhere in the vicinity of the 1000 block of West Princess Street, just west of the Borough & York City Line. These two vehicles then fled the borough and travelled into York City. Evidence was collected from the scene confirming that at least one handgun was fired.
