Suspect arrested in York City shooting

York City Police make an arrest in an afternoon shooting. The shooting happened at about 2:05 pm in the 300 block of East Maple Street. The shooting victim is identified as 21 year old  Jamal Qasim-Vernon,  Qasim-Vernon had been shot multiple times. He is listed in critical condition at York Hospital.

Less than an hour after the shooting, arrested and charged 20 year old Daquan Romell Drummond. Charges against Drummond include Aggravated Assault, Criminal Conspiracy and Robbery.

Police say their investigation continues as they attempt to identify two more suspects.
