Dillsburg man faces sexual assault charges involving two minor girls

A York County man faces multiple charges involving sexual assault of two juvenile girls.  Fairview Township Police filed the charges against George L. Smith, 60, of Dillsburg.

One of the victims told investigators that Smith’s assaults started in 1995 when she was five years old and continued through 1998. She said that Smith made her watch pornography while sitting on his lap. He frequently touched her genital area with tongue and fingers. She also reported that Smith exposed his genitals and told her to touch them.

The second victim said that Smith began assaulting her in 2003 or 2004 when she was six years old. She also said that Smith made her watch pornography with him. She said on one occasion she woke up to find Smith in her bedroom with his hand inside her pants touching her genital area.  All the assaults told place at his then home in Fairview Township.

Charges against Smith include Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Indecent Assault, Obscene and Other Sexual Materials and Performances and Corruption of Minors involving the first victim.   He is charged with Indecent Assault, Corruption of Minors and Dissemination to Minors.

Following arraignment Smith was released on $20,000 bail for each case.
