(Fox8) A Massachusetts mother saved her children by using her body as a speed bump.

WCVB said Mindy Tran had just put her car in park in the garage; her twin toddlers were buckled-in in the backseat.

When she got out of the car, she said it started rolling away.

Tran said, “I had to use myself as a speed bump to slow it down enough for one of my neighbors to get in and completely stop the car.”

But, firefighters had to stabilize the car with wooden blocks and use an airbag to lift it off of her.

The 22-year-old mother’s left knee was crushed and her right leg was dislocated; she has more surgeries ahead. Tran said she’s just glad her kids are fine.
