A Cumberland County woman faces charges after she allegedly files a false robbery report. West Shore regional Police responded to a call at 3:30 pm yesterday to a home in the 200 block of Bosler Avenue for a reported robbery.

The victim, identified as 21 year old Hilary Nichole Bricker, of the 100 block of 2nd Street, told officers that a man by the name “Jason” robbed her of some cash.

Further investigation revealed that Bricker was not robbed but had in fact attempted to buy drugs from a man, but he did not have the marijuana she wanted to buy.

Bricker is charged with one count of False Reports to Law Enforcement Authorities.
