CHILLY END TO WINTER: As some drizzle and light rain rolls in this morning, temperatures are dancing close to the freezing mark. Temps will rise to the low 40s today, as warmer air is forced in on southerly winds. This will scour out any icing concerns for midday with rain showers continuing through this raw and damp Wednesday. Improvement is one day away!
SPRING ARRIVES: We start cool with some clouds on Thursday morning with temperatures in the middle 30s. By the afternoon, and just in time for the start of spring, we see temps make a run at the low 50s under partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. The vernal equinox is at 12:57PM, marking the official start of astronomical spring! Enjoy the day.
MILD AIR: Friday is another partly cloudy and mild day with highs in the middle 50s. Saturday, we do upper 50s. More clouds roll in with a few rain showers on Saturday as another cold front presses through.
WINTER CHILL: And of course winter wouldn’t just leave us ceremonially as spring begins. Sunday, colder air slips in behind Saturday’s front. Temps will fall to the middle 40s for highs with a cold breeze in play. We’re partly cloudy but dry. Monday looks to feature more sun as the core of high pressure rolls into the state, but we’re stuck near 40°. By Tuesday, we’re still chilly and we may even see some snow showers. Yupper! Stay tuned.
