The search for a York County man reported missing almost a year ago is over.  Police found Thomas Augustyniak, 53, from Glen Rock, dead on Saturday, at Prettyboy Reservoir in Northern Baltimore County.

Investigators say they don’t believe he was a victim of a crime.

On April 24th of last year, FOX 43 reported Augustyniak left a note saying he was going for a walk.  He signed it, “Love Tom.”  When he disappeared, family members were baffled because he left his phone, keys and wallet at home.

In the months following his disappearance, several police agencies, fire companies and volunteers spent time searching for him.  Last April 30th, FOX 43 reported a surveillance camera caught Augustyniak walking along Main Street in Glen Rock, headed towards the York County Rail Trail.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.  Baltimore County Police are handling the case.
