OVERVIEW:  Temperatures remain below average for the next two days before warming up. A low pressure system will develop and rapidly strengthen off the east coast Tuesday bringing some light snow to the area. A cold front will swing through Tuesday night, which could also bring a shot of light snow. More seasonal weather starts to move in towards the end of the week.
THIS EVENING: It’s cold despite sunshine. Clouds are already drifting in from the west. Temperatures are running in the low 30s but with the breeze, feels like the 20s. The winds will become lighter and temps will fall to around 30 by 10pm.
OVERNIGHT: Increasing clouds, lows will be cold once again in the mid 20s.

TOMORROW: Once we get past the morning commute, we could see a few light scattered snow showers develop. They will continue into the afternoon and may pick up in intensity but any accumulations will be hard to come by due to the March sun. The snow will melt as it makes landfall. A coating to an inch is possible and maybe a few isolated areas with a little more. There could be some light accumulations on the grassy areas but as of now, nothing more. Roads will be wet but they are too warm for the snow to accumulate.  Energy coming in from the west will help a coastal low deepen off the coast.  Most of the moisture associated with it, remains east of us. Highs will be running well below average in the mid 30s.

Hour by Hour
SLOWLY WARMING: Morning clouds Wednesday will give way to sunshine but it will do little to warm us. The winds will be breezy once again making temperatures in the mid to upper 30s feel much colder. By Thursday, our winds will shift to the southwest ahead of our next system and this will help to warm us into the upper 40s to near 50. Showers arrive Friday with the next frontal system but it remains mild with highs in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: It looks like a few showers will still be possible for early Saturday and temperatures will be near seasonal average in the low to mid 50s. Much drier with more sunshine as Sunday rolls around. Highs will warm into the upper 50s.
STARING MILD MEXT WEEK: Heading back to work, we’ll see mostly sunny skies with much milder temperatures in the lower 60s.
Have a great day!
