Police in York City are investigating after a man claims he was shot during an attempted robbery on Sunday night.
According to police, Jonathan Walker, of York, was approached by two men in the area of Oak Lane and West College Avenue while he was climbing into a cab around 10:20 p.m.
Walker was shot in the leg and taken to York Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Officers went to the location of the shooting but could not locate a crime scene.
No word yet on any suspects.
